Contact System

SKYU'S contactors type SL 4 and SL 6 are designed to withstand high ambients, humidity, undervoltage conditions and frequent starts. They are suitable for AC-4 duty-inching and plugging operations.

Contact System
Silver alloy main contacts are shrouded with an arc chamber which has de-ion plates. This feature, plus the double- break contact system with minimum bounce, ensures long contact life. Fixed and moveing contacts are accessible by removing just two screws. The fixed contact design is based on the ingenious 'split-contact' technique which permits contact replacement without disturbing terminal wiring.

Coil
